Pick a side
Are you ever suspicious when your boss is talking smack about one of your peers? Ever wonder what he/she is saying about you to them? Do you wonder why they trust you to hear what they’re saying without the fear of you sharing that discussion with your peers? It’s simple! Plausible deniability! Those in a position of authority can make it up as they go along without the fear of having to face up to what they may have said. Who would question them, and if questioned, they can simply deny the remarks and further disparage those who detest and try to avoid the games. Wouldn’t you like to just once conceal a recording device and capture the “true” persona of those who speak out of both sides of their mouths! I for one would like to see a more honest world. Don’t give me a line of bullshit, I can see through it anyway. Don’t be manipulative by saying what you think people want to hear in order to get what you want. Have some balls and be true to yourself and to your subordinates. You may not climb the corporate ladder as fast, but you’ll earn something far more valuable……..respect!
When Will They Learn??
While I am never surprised any more by the lack of intelligence and memory in today’s society, I do find myself questioning when will these senseless acts of stupidity and ignorance finally weed out the genes that continue to weaken the human race? Remember Timothy Treadwell? Remember the guys taunting the Tiger at the San Francisco zoo? The trainer at Sea World? The movie bear that mauled its trainer? The women disfigured by her pet monkey? Steve Irwin? Apparently, this guy in Florida has forgotten those incidents or simply chooses to ignore the past. I love animals and am intrigued by those who can get this close and interact with them. The man has a video feed documenting his month long cohabitation with a pair of lions. Watch if you’d like. Hopefully he’ll make it through! What’s they saying? Those who fail to learn from history……….

What ever happened to teaching our children instead of appeasing them? They need to understand before it smacks them in the face that life is not always duckies and bunnies! Yes, it is unfortunate, but your super star child will at some point in their life be faced with adversity. Everyone gets a trophy and a smiley face in spite of their performance, just so we don’t run the risk of hurting anyone’s feelings. Do we really want to teach our children that everyone is a winner when the real world has winners and losers? Wouldn’t you feel better if you had prepared them for the fact that life doesn’t always work out how they’d like, rather than succumbing to their every demand leaving them totally unprepared to deal with reality? We are becoming way too soft as a society and our bleeding hearts will only lead to the continued weakening of our country. What people forget as they enjoy their six figure salaries and luxury suv’s is that someone before them had to suffer difficult times and dig in their heels to allow us to live in the world we all take for granted today.
Good Looking = Success
What I am about to say should not come as a surprise to anyone, but it still pisses me off! I often wonder what it would be like to go through life as one of the beautiful people. There are far too many advantages for attractive people. No one cares what you’re saying, or if you make any sense. Your smile can change an attitude from anger to happiness. You’re given opportunities the scrubs would never sniff, regardless or their abilities. You are instantly placed on the top of any list, and in many cases have no idea why. You undoubtably have difficulty with making choices with all of the opportunities presented to you. For that I am truly sorry. that must be a very difficult burden to carry. You are the gold standard. Don’t expect too much simpathy from the chump change!
